I am reaching out regarding a serious issue with the delivery of our Model Y. We ordered the vehicle a week ago, paid the $250 order fee, and scheduled our delivery appointment through the Tesla app. The vehicle assigned to us was already in the parking lot and marked as ready for pickup. However, on the day of our appointment, Tesla canceled the delivery. We were told that the vehicle “needed to be worked on” and that we should expect to wait another 2–4 days. This morning, I called again and spoke with DJ. At first, he said the vehicle was still being prepared—cleaning, final checks, etc. When I asked why this was taking so long if the vehicle was already on-site, he then told us that the vehicle had actually been given to another customer and that we would now have to wait for a new del

It's coming on close to a year, I was hoping to let my experience "go" but I'm still miffed. I visited Tesla, looking at the Model Y. A young sales woman was helping me out. She said she had the car I was looking for, but was in another state. She showed me the screen on her laptop showing the listed price for the car I would be buying. Call it price "X". She said she needed my credit card and drivers license and that there is a $250 deposit for the key. She also had me download the Tesla App to enter information. However, following the instructions on the App was leading me on a journey of purchasing the car, which I was not doing yet. So, I asked her, thinking this was a mistake. We had a great experience with Josh from Tesla sales! He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about every feature of the car. He made our test drive relaxed, fun, and informative; never pushy, just genuinely enthusiastic about helping us understand everything.
