After my initial "in person" interaction with Robert, I knew I wanted to bring him my '89 Ford E-150 with a 5-speed manual. It still had the original OE factory clutch after 37 years of family ownership but was on borrowed time. Robert did a full clutch kit, master cylinder, & slave cylinder. He ran into some issues & had to update my 5th gear & reverse gear that he did not anticipate from the original quote. His pricing was very fair. Robert knows his transmissions & is a very nice guy. Bad Buisness , no communication , and scammer !. I got my transmission rebuilt by him for it to only last 12,500 which is when the warranty went out for 12,000 /1 year . But i only had it for 7 months which I called and talked to him about the problem which was a check engine light. He says bring it in I, will check it out and I asked will it be on warranty he proceeded to say yes , so I bring it in and made sure that it will be done on warranty. He has my truck for almost 2 weeks for him to call me once and say it seems something came undone in the rebuilt transmission he did for me and say it will not be done on warranty after he has had it already for two weeks!!!! Talk to Robert on the phone. Told him what code I was getting. He told me to bring it in for a free estimate so I took it over there. He took his code reader out there. Drove it around the parking lot came back. Looked under the hood came in. Told me he was getting the same code and I had a rebuilt engine in it. I bought the truck new. There's no rebuilt engine in.
