One star because I can’t give a zero. Let’s just say. I called him for a Toyota matrix he said he’d drop the price from 4,950 to 4,400 and when I got to the auto shop he proceeded to tell me and my family 4,500… which I drove from Massachusetts to get this car and I have 4,400 in cash in hand. You could feel a few things wrong with the car regardless. Drove smoothly don’t get me wrong it’s fixable but at what cost? I drove less then 40 miles and the check engine light came on for the 02 sensor. I was already around Stafford springs so I had given him a call… asking him what do we wanna do. And of course im asked to pay half for the 02 sensor. On the paper I received from orielys from the scan it said 02 sensor stored and then 02 sensor pending. Like he’d cleared the check engine light long

Dave is great, probably the only honest car salesman in the business, a real standup guy. He'll make sure you get a good car for a good price, and if any issues do come up, he takes care of it quickly and without any question. I'll definitely get my next car from him.

The salesman DAVE was the WORST I've ever dealt with! Tried to sell me a car that was listed for $2950 that wouldn't even start, he had to jump it! Took it for a test drive, wouldn't start again when I turned it off! He said"it's from sitting , it's the battery" . I said "how do you know it's not the starter?" He said Ehhhjhj, whatever is "we'll take care of it"! He sounded like a lieing through his teeth sleazy salesman. 😡 So I asked if he would budge on the price a lil. He says NAHHHH, it's my kids, and he won't take anything under 2950. I laughed and left. Then I'm on Marketplace and my girl (who was with me on the test drive sees that exact car for the same price. She offers him 2500, the same amount we offered AT the damn dealership 😂😂😂! He says he'll do it! 😡 I contact him also on Ma

Extremely happy with our experience at The Car Place. This is the second time we've bought a vehicle from Dave and our recent was a 2010 Chevy Cobalt that we absolutely love. Car runs great and passed all the inspections in MA. The price was very reasonable and Dave was upfront and honest, providing the Car Fax information, which was appreciated. He's quite the character and I enjoyed talking to him. He made the process very easy for us and treated us with kindness and respect. Thanks, Dave for your help and all the laughs. First, I am writing this review 6 months and 5k miles from my purchase, so as to have an accurate and through review process. I had a great experience with Dave, et. al.. An independent mechanic reviewed the work he did and it was proper and completed as stated. He replaced all four tires and struts, among other parts, which is often overlooked at other lots. He was pleasant and easy going, I did not feel pressured or button-holed into a sale. I was even able to negotiate a great price. Took a test drive and owned the vehicle an hour later. I love my Hyundai; it was a great replacement for my Honda Accord that was totaled in a deer collision. I never had to take advantage of the 50/50 warranty so I cannot speak to its veracity.
