The Cottages of Milledgeville

The Assisted Living Cottages at Woodland Terrace in Milledgeville is a great place to live, EXCEPT for the absolutely terrible food quality they purchase for the residents. We have discussed this issue at length with the management for as long as my loved one has lived there and no consistent changes have been made. They have suggested that we keep a log of the food we are unhappy with and when we present this information to them, they ask us to be patient but nothing changes. The food is so inferior that my loved one regularly dreads eating there. This has us considering that they are not receiving proper nutrition and sustenance. I returned to Milledgeville after being gone 34 years. I wanted to be near my son and his family and be present for my Grand daughter, Emily. I initially wanted to rent on the Lake, after downsizing from a large home, pool, and landscaped yard. When I first considered “The Cottages” it was meant to be temporary. My Grand daughter loved it from the start. ! “Oh Grandma stay here”. I moved in March of 2016, I’m delightfully still here. I just feel so content and peaceful here. I appreciate the freedom renting provides. Everything is managed by the “Cottages” staff. The staff are very accommodating and often go above and beyond.
