The Diesel Schopp & Auto Repair

We were stranded in Billings with a diesel sprinter van that was only running in limp mode. Called the Diesel Schopp (after talking to several others) and talked to Nate. He said bring it over and he pulled it right into the shop and got to work. He listened to the troubleshooting we had done and asked questions. Some parts were not available so he rebuilt them on the spot and got us back in the road. He took us on a 10 mile test drive to make sure we were good to go. Price wasn’t bad considering it was an emergency repair. Highly recommend!

Great service from The Diesel Schopp. Nate and Royal went above and beyond by patching up an exhaust leak on my Duramax while replacing my coolant lines and fixing an EGR leak. They cleaned my air intake while it was apart. A couple months later my low coolant light came on, they quickly found the bad hose and warrantied the part and labor. I would take my truck here again.

The entire team is incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly so I fully understood what was going on with my vehicle, which I truly appreciated. I had a coolant hose pop right outside of this shop and they were very quick to help me get a new one on and had me out in about an hour! Great service and friendly staff.

While traveling through Billings MT, I developed a coolant leak in my 2003 Duramax Silverado. I searched for a diesel repair shop and luckily found The Diesel Schopp. Nate immediately took a look at my truck, found the problem and went to work to repair it. Nate also discovered a dangerous wheel bearing issue and replaced them as well. Nate put me at the front of the line and got me back on the road. And finally, I inquired about a performance tune.
