The Fitch - Senior Living on Ell Pond

I cannot say enough good things about The Fitch. My sweet cousin lived there for almost three years after many years of living alone and independently in her own apartment. I thought it would be a hard transition for her, but The Fitch very quickly became her new home and she was happy. The staff is superb. They do everything, both the big stuff and the little stuff, to help the residents feel at home. The care they provide is superb. I live out of state so was not able to visit very frequently but I never worried about my cousin’s well-being or happiness. And I loved to visit because it felt like home to me too! I will continue to visit even though my cousin, sadly, is no longer at The Fitch. I miss Maria, Marnie, Wendy, Judy and the rest of this loving and caring crew.

I will continue to give the Fitch Home 5 stars, even though my mom is no longer there. They got my mom through a very tough year, plus, when her health issues were more than my brother or I could support. I still visit their staff when I can and do my best to drop off a small token of our appreciation every holiday. Joyce Lamb, Sharon, Diane, Marnie, and everyone their, continue to take amazing care of their residents, and also extend that care to their family members. My mom stays in touch with some of the residents and they always praise the care received by staff members. I'll go out on a limb and tell anyone considering The Fitch for their family to please feel free to request to contact me. I'm one of their biggest fans and feel it a privileged to be a reference on their behalf.

I can’t say enough positive things about The Fitch to convey what an outstanding home they provided for a family member for almost three years. She is no longer there, as she now requires a level of care that can only be provided in a long term care facility. She was able to stay at the Fitch for as long as she did, and well past a time where other facilities would have insisted she leave, because of the extraordinary level of care and kindness from every member of the staff at The Fitch. She truly was part of their family rather than a client or resident or patient. I know they will miss her and she them, but the three years she spent there were a gift beyond measure. The staff have gone above and beyond in the care of my aunt. It is a true family community with caring staff and residents. It is so nice to be back in person for visits, see everyone and catch up. I am so thankful to have such an amazing senior living community right in my home town.

If I have the opportunity, to pick a place to live my life out to it's fullest, I'd be very happy to be invited to share my last years at the Fitch.
