The Homestead Senior Living

The staff seem to be very nice people, caring and dedicated. The facility is very nice and the inmates are well taken care of according to my brother. The Urine smell, kind of gives a bad impression of the cleanliness of the facility weather true or not I didn't enjoy that. I did enjoy visiting with my family member, Eddie, he is in a good place but Homestead needs to pay more attention to smell control.

Unless you don't want to find out your relative passed away...don't let your nusto relative admit your relative here because you won't be contacted. There are no court restraining orders against my family, so no reason we couldn't be contacted. The executive director will ensure you know nothing or the office manager lied when we were told the relative couldn't with hold without a court order. So someone is lieing. Oh and where is the money we left for her care? They made us leave cash. We never got a receipt? Did you pocket it??

This facility is awesome and everyone that works there is great. all the staff is very focused on their residents. They have bingo almost everyday, they have piano players come in to play, they have more activities then I've ever seen in a assisted living..they keep everyone busy but also while they are having fun,they have fishing trips, they go shopping..My Dad moved in there about 2 months ago and he absolutely loves it, it gives the family a piece of mind knowing that their loved ones are very well taken care of...my Dad also said all the meals they serve are delicious...I would highly recommend The Homestead to anyone looking for an assisted living environment...they are the best, And it's one of the cleanest places I've ever seen...

I was absolutely disgusted by the way this place is ran. There are some sweet ladies that work here but there are also people who should never ever be working with any elderly people. My grandmother sat in her urine soaked bed all morning until afternoon shift got there and was able to accommodate her. I will be going here daily to visit with my grandmother and make sure this doesn't happen again or I will be reporting this place to authorities.

A Great place for your loved ones. They take excellent care of them. I would like thank everyone there, especially Wanda she goes above and beyond for the residents there..She's very good with the elderly and keeps me informed of my Dads wellness...
