Definitely the best local mechanic shop in Alvin. I've used a few different ones throughout the years but once I've started coming to Anthony, I'll never go elsewhere. Quick to diagnose and write up a estimate. Great communication throughout the repair. Always goes above and beyond. I can see why he's got such a good reputation. Thanks again for fixing my truck and car.

I called 2 weeks ago about my car and Heather answered. She asked me what was wrong with my car, I explained the issue and she said “That’s an Anthony question.” and said she would call me back after speaking with him.(I never received a call.) I called back today and she told me “ I don’t know why I would have to talk to Anthony about that.” Came off as rude and obviously forgetful. I also asked about a service that they used to offer where a tow truck could come pick up the car and they add it on to your bill once the service is finished , and she said “uhh no, but you can call them yourself and get it towed here.” Try to go to these small companies, and they treat you like they don’t need or want your business lol It’s a shame because Chris and Anthony are good dudes, if you actually g

Took my 65 Mustang in that I have been having issues with and Anthony and his team were able to resolve it with no problem at all and also caught some other repairs that were needed that I was not aware of . I highly recommended The Shop for your Classic Car repairs !

There are many auto shops in Alvin, some horrible, some really good. I grew up working on cars rebuilding engine with high horsepower so I know a bit. Well Anthony figured out a problem not I nor my previous favorite shop could figure out. To be honest I never had anyone try to win my business like he did. After talking and testing his knowledge on a future 1000hp beast I want to build I decided no one else is better suited for the expensive job. I highly recommend this place. Also their only bad review doesn't seem fair either. This shop should be at a 5.0 but it looks like competitors don't want that. They are busy but good shops are always busy. Well worth the wait if you want it fixed correctly the first time and don't want to hear upgrades and add ons. They won't try to up the ticket

The shop has worked on both of my kids cars and done an amazing job. They took the time to explain what needed to fixed and repaired it quickly. They also beat a quote from another place in town by a substantial amount. Efficient, honest and hands down the only place I’ll take my cars.
