The Shop San Bruno

I didn’t have a good experience here. The shop felt very transactional and not particularly knowledgeable about diagnosing issues in depth. During my visit, the owner seemed more interested in what was bought for lunch than in really taking the time to understand what might be going on with my car. He mentioned one thing but never followed up and seemed in a hurry to leave. It left me feeling like customer care and attention to detail weren’t priorities. The price quotes were inconsistent, and he didn’t seem confident in what he was explaining. The shop also appears to rely heavily on inexperienced workers for most of the actual work. There are many honest, skilled mechanics out there who genuinely care about the quality of their work — this just didn’t feel like one of those places. Ove

Great group of mechanics. They did a great job with tire installation and computerized wheel alignment. Thanks, Edy! Customer lounge looks great & is very clean. Would definitely come back to get other things done.

These guys are fast and accommodating. Got a new set of tires the other day with alignment and the attention to detail is good. They even keep your wheel lock in the same position as before. Aligned to the air valve. My daily beater came in. Vehicle road rough with a lot of vibrations and bad tire wear. Inside wore faster than outside and center tire. Got aligned and now the vehicle rides straight with no vibrations whatsoever. Amazing! Thanks for fitting me in so quickly. Will come back again. I also just walk to Barnes and wait there. It is just a 10 minute walk and I can do some work in that cafe/bookstore.

I had my car brought up here to The Shop, for repairs after Triple A driver from Action tow, dropped off my car to a wrong car repair shop. Is it just a mistake or a dumb driver?! But anyways, thank you Matt at The Shop!

I took my wife's two cars here with vandalized tires. Volvo XC60 and a Honda Civic. Matthel and there team took us in no questions asked and did a stellar job working around the damages. They have a big yard and it is easier to park and get an appointment with these guys. We live in Millbrae but will go here as Millbrae is too busy and crowded. It is difficult to bring a flat bed into those busy tire lots on El Camino. Will return with our other vehicles.
