The Subie Guy

Incredibly professional and expert service on my 2012 Outback 2.5 that had blown a head gasket. The car had been new to me, but I knew the old owner had taken it here for service before and had nothing but praise for their work. I can absolutely back up that sentiment, they were able to give me a quick turnaround time and on the mark quote just over the phone. Color me astounded when they were able to complete the service before the date they originally estimated, and were able to get me back on the road in record time. Thank you to Drew (who I spoke with on the phone and the front desk) and the rest of the team at The Subie Guy. I would highly recommend!

Just had a worn out clutch, bearings, flywheel, state inspection, and rear brakes replaced/repaired. Drew was great to assign the work orders and Lou was great to talk and discuss what seemed to be the problem about the car. They did an excellent care on the 2021 WRX. Everything is working 100%. Lou was kind to drive the car around the block to point out my driving bad habits that could cause a worn out clutch. A local specialized shop for subaru owners.

I was referred to Subie Guy by Brandon at Allen Tire because I needed work done on my Cross Trek that they could not do and I was definitely not taking my car to the dealership. Anyway I was told that if the car was dropped off Thursday night that it would be done on Monday and sure enough it was ready the very next day around lunch time. Subie Guy was thorough, honest, FAST, and a MUCH BETTER option than taking my car to the dealership. I will continue to bring my car to Subie Guy from now on!!

I was referred to The Subie Guy from another shop, so I gave them a try. I was having transmission issues with my Forester and these guys were very transparent with me. They gave me advice and suggestions, things that other shops sometimes don't provide. At this point, I haven't decided whether to replace or repair my transmission. The Subie Guys told me they don't really "rebuild" transmissions, and that's ok. Since I haven't decided what direction I want to go, I won't be using them this go round. But, I do recommend them due to their professionalism and transparency with me. I will call on them again in the future. Thanks for your help and guidance.

We brought our 2004 Baja Turbo (222K miles) to the Subie Guy after the engine started throwing diagnostic codes & running rough. They clearly knew what they're doing and treated our car and us well. They communicated well regarding the cost as they checked the car. June 2021: The Subie Guy rebuilt our 2004 Subaru Baja engine (including the Turbo) with new parts, and it's been running perfectly (better than new) for 1600 miles. October 2022 Update: Our 2004 Subaru Baja is still running better than ever and is getting better gas milage ever (since we bought it factory-new). Rebuilding an engine is expensive, but not so expensive as a new vehicle; we trusted The Subie Guy to do it right, and I believe we can easily get another 15-20 years from our Baja with the new engine. July 2025 Update
