The Talbot on Granby

Moved in and loving it. Convenient location to everything. Great amenities. Spacious. Great closets. And the senior citizen residents are spectacular! Some have been here decades! Any issues or questions? The Administrative, Chef Rachel and her staff, maintenance? Welcoming, supportive, knowledgeable. I feel like I overused great and awesome, but true. No movers remorse here.

We have lived here for almost 10 months. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great with many selections available. There is no expensive buy-in, and the rent, given the excellent food, good service, rides available, responsive maintenance, ice cream socials, is reasonable. A fitness center and physical therapy are on-site. The extra meals and events are great fun. I didn't think old people could have so much fun, until we came to the Talbot.

The Talbot is a senior community where the term community is more than a word. The Talbot consistently epitomizes, a group of people united by shared interests, purpose and circumstances. The Talbot characterizes mutual suppport with the sense of truly belonging that goes beyond simple geographical location. It is about shared experiences, common goals, caring fellowship where the staff and the residents come together psychologically for n identity and interest and despite initially being strangers they together create a morally significant experience. Community, fun, family! My mother has made many lasting friends in the 7 years that she lived at The Talbot on Granby. The staff is very friendly and caring. The food is great. And they listen to your ideas. Examples are: I suggested that they add benches around the building because people like to walk around the building and sometimes they get tired. Soon benches were added! I also suggested that they use tables in the dining room that would seat more than four people. Soon after that, they added larger round tables that can seat five or six people if need be! It’s nice to know that they listen to your ideas and care about your opinions! I highly recommend living here!

We have a great experience at the Talbot. The staff on all the areas work with you and help you. The dining room and the kitchen and wait.staff always try to make your dining experience great. Our Cleaner on the second floor Lesjia does a great job and this is very important to us. Maintenance does a great job too and this especially the new man Jeffrey Jeffrey. He’s really knows what he’s doing. He moves fast doesn’t waste time and he’s he’s a real asset to The Talbot..
