Called Thompson’s re: Class A, 38’ CAT diesel that had broken down. Initial call was about 1 hour before closing. Service representative said they could service RV, however, they would be locking the gates (for drop off) in about 45 minutes. They gave me the name & phone # for towing. During the next 45 minutes I had occasion to call them about 5 times - they were always very polite & gave me the info requested. I let them know when tow truck arrived & when we were on the road to them. The timeline was short to get it to them. Thompson’s stayed in touch with me, they called for estimated arrival and in the end - because we weren’t able to get there before closing due to heavy rush hour traffic , they STAYED OPEN past closing for us AND kept the gate to their secured lot open. I have been wanting to write a review since February when we bought 2 semi trucks from Tim. He is the best salesperson I have ever met in this business. From the first phone call to the after the fact, he remained genuinly nice, professional and helpful. Trucks were delivered impeccable. I would recommend this truck dealer to whoever is looking for a good used truck- you can seriously relax knowing they will fix everything there is to be fixed before handing you your truck. knowledgeable, professional, considerate. Passing through town by radiator lines gave out Leaking fluids and putting my rig into limp mode. They were able to replace the lines and check the rest. no one likes breaking down but I’m sure glad they were able to fix it.

This review is not for any repairs, but for the parts department. I call 2 international dealership in the area, for the part I needed. I blown out the hose that goes from CAC to intake manifold on a International Prostar. Neither dealership had the part in stock and both said it would next afternoon before they could get it. Robert and Jeff at Thompson were a great help and they called around for me , but no one stock International parts. They remember they had a trailer with new old stock, and we found the hose in it. Seeing how Jeff and Robert treated me I would consider bringing my truck here.

I delivered trucks here, hoist is easy accessible, service is great! Jeff goes out of his way to help and make the job simple. hope to see a electric hoist here someday and a canopy would help too.
