Thunder Auto Wash

I have been to this car wash a couple times since they opened and have used the self serve bays with no problem. This morning I figured I would give the touchless wash a try since there was no line. I was very disappointed in it. It left soap all over my truck and soap spots after I had to use the self serve to wash all the soap off. Edit. After washing all soap off my truck I found a bunch of chip marks on the front of my truck.

I recently learned about this place and been here a of couple times already . And I love it . Normally I hand wash my car and truck. But during a pinch this place is great since It’s near home. I’ve been using the Ceramic auto car wash and so far so good. I haven’t seen any damage to my Truck. Been thinking of getting a membership since I work in construction . My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars is that I feel the time for the dryer is not sufficient . I haven’t been able to completely get my truck fully dry with the amount of time the dryer is on. It works great on my Sedan. But on my truck I feel it needs an extra 15-20ish seconds more.

Update: Following my visit I reached out to the owner and heard back about a day later. David was great and obviously really cares about customers and their experiences at his locations. He provided a code for me to take my wife’s car back for another wash. The wash did much better this time. It’s nice to have locally owned businesses with great customer service. Thank you David. This was my first time using this carwash and was excited to do so since I only use touchless car washes but there aren’t many around. This touchless was a bit pricey but didn’t mind hoping it did a better job than others. To my disappointment it did not. Every Oklahoman Knows that in state where there’s red dust everywhere and even the rain is dirty you need a good car wash. Thunder auto wash is your place. It’s clean with new equipment! Whether you want to do it yourself or use the bay. You won’t be dissatisfied.

I gave 2 stars because of the new look but the poor auto wash. The auto wash worked better before they remodeled, I took 2 cars in the auto wash & it left something (soap or tri-foam) on the car even after the rinse and blow dry. I had to go to self wash to get it all off. If you plan on do auto wash I would just get the wash & dry.
