I'm a fairly new resident and my experience has been mostly positive. Pros: The building is clean and well maintained (weekly cleaning and monthly exterminating). The maintenance team is excellent and has responded to any problems I've reported. There is a large community room with conference table, couch, chairs and a large screen TV. Adjacent is a kitchen with a washer (which has been out of order for a month) and dryer. Note: each of the three floors has a washer and dryer. There is a small resident parking lot (sticker provided) and so far I haven't had any difficulty finding a parking place. I reached out via email to inquire about an apartment I was interested in. I received a response inviting me to tour the property on a specific day. However, when I arrived, the leasing office was closed. The following day, I emailed Humphrey Management to address the issue and received a response from the community manager, Patreashea Bradshaw. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the miscommunication about the tour. Instead, she simply asked what type of unit I was looking for. That response immediately put me off. I decided to reply, stating I wasn’t interested due to my salary, which wasn’t true. I also mentioned that the automated system generating false appointment confirmations needed to be addressed. I'm just moving out after 4 yrs here. If you see Humphrey Management anywhere, run in the other direction. They are terrible. Community Manager spent all day with her door closed playing games. The building itself is in terrible shape. The windows don't open and there is a film on them so you can't see out. Parking is ridiculous. My neighbor got her car stolen right out of the lot. Drug addicts and pushers hang out outside. A resident was dead for at least 4 days before residents noticed the smell and called police. There are only 25 units. The community manager can't do a well ness check? I gave it 2 stars because if you are a senior of low income, they will take you and it's better than nothing. We need to provide much better for our seniors than this place. Avoid unless in dire straits.

A nice retirement home that was built well and is maintained well by the owners.

Good environment but some residents are questionably nosey.
