Tidal Wave Auto Spa | Car Wash

Since I bought my truck 4 months ago, I have gone to Colonel Clean in Beaufort 2 times a week. I decided to give Tidal Wave a shot. First run through, the spinners spun but never touched my truck. Rinse cycle didn’t rinse all of the soap off before drying. Staff was nice to let me go through again for free after seeing how dusty my truck was after the first run through. Same thing. Spinners spin but didn’t move in to scrub my truck. I ended up using a microfiber towel and hand washing my whole truck in the vacuum area. Vacuums. At Colonel Clean they have 2 different sizes, a narrow one for hard to reach areas and a wide one for the big areas. Tidal wave only has one size, couldn’t get in between seats. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but I felt this place deserved one. I went through the carwash here mid April in a car I had just bought a few months prior. When I returned to my fiancés parents house, I noticed that not one but TWO of the front panels were missing. I went back to the carwash to retrieve the panels which were destroyed due to cars running them over, etc. We spoke to the site manager and he agreed that it was the car washes fault (before ever looking over the video footage). This would make sense since both panels came off, I could see it being the cars fault if only one panel came off, not two. Need to update their vacuums at the HHI location.Twice I have pulled into a slot that the vacuum did not work or the handle kept falling off Drainage issue seems to have a lot of mud dirt in the slots to vacuum I also questioned if all those who are vacuuming their vehicles are members. Seems to be a lot who just frequent the vacuums only & playing their loud music I’ve brought these issues to the attendant and they seem to not care

I’ve been with tidal wave for over a year now and have never had a bad experience, as a matter of fact, every time I go there I always have a very pleasant experience. Everyone is always very friendly . Of course I live by the golden rule that I always talk to and treat people the way I wish them to treat me, if you want respect you must give it first. A lot of people don’t take into consideration these people have to work in. If some of these people ever got out of their plush heated and air conditioned cars they wouldn’t be able to do that job for one day. My heart goes out to all the workers there. Tidal Wave has the perfect manager for this spot. He is very helpful and always works to make things better. Great location. Keep up the good work!
