My husband and I purchased a trade-in vehicle from Tinney Chevrolet today. Having worked at a Ford dealership years ago, I was very much dreading the buying experience with a dealership. I soon came to realize this was nothing like the old high pressure sales techniques that I was expecting. Our Sales Associate Gabe, was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He took the time to show us the vehicle even when it wasn't ready to be shown. He explained every detail about the vehicle and about the buying process at Tinney. Tinney who apparently bought out Pinkerton, seems to be very good to the employees. I place considerable importance in my judgment of a business by the way that business treats their employees. It’s very unfortunate I’m not allowed to leave more than 5 stars for a positive review. I will say this extremely loud and clear, if you are not buying from Fred Doswell you are simply missing out and wasting time. I have NEVER had such impeccable service, courtesy, and a custom tailored purchasing experience like I received today. Fred took time on his day off (unbeknownst to me) to get the ball rolling on a new Silverado fitting every requirement for a new purchase I wanted. I told him what I wanted, he told me that he would more than be able to deliver on my request. He gave me a time frame and absolutely delivered on my request. He is extremely helpful, answered every question I had and treated me as if we had known each other since we were kids. He keeps a very neat and clean office,
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! if i could give a lower rating i would. got my truck back from service (Silverado EV) there were screws and fasteners broken, missing, loose, in the wrong place, random nut rolling around in the splash shield. Glen the service manager promised it would be fixed. dropped it off this morning only for the service advisor to deny causing the issues.... the truck is NEW tinney is the only dealer who has worked on it.. this is not the first issue i have had with this service department and this truck. truck has been in 4 times in the first 25k miles. not because the truck is bad but because the technicians are incompetent and management is absent at best. i found the GMs phone number in the other comments (Grey Adams). of course it rang once and went straight to
Had a awesome experience with this dealership. Back in December of 2025 we went in not knowing what I really wanted. This dealership was nothing short of amazing. From sales (Aeric Barger) to the finance office (Fred Doswell)....everyone was so nice and friendly. We were offered water and snacks while we waited. I did find a new car that I absolutely love. If you are looking for a new or used car please give them a try. For us it was great!
