Tire Choice Auto Service Centers

I recently had my car in for a safety and emission inspection. I had never been there and was apprehensive about what kind of scam I was going to get to pass my inspection. The tech spend time on my vehicle and was thorough. He absolutely didn't "scam" me and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need to pass my inspection. I showed up at my appointment time and my car was quickly pulled into the service bays. As I waited I noticed several repeat customers coming in for car repair or service and this led me to believe that this was an honest shop with satisfied customers. Everyone working was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I'm glad I scheduled my inspection here and I will definitely recommend and return.

A very odd and uncomfortable experience. Had an appointment at 1130am for safety and emissions. Was told it would be done in about an hour. I got a ride to finish other errands and returned at 2pm assuming everything would be done. My car hadn't moved. When they found that my keys were still hanging to be done I reluctantly sat back down. Very awkward in wait room as the employee complained about wanting a break from how busy it was and openly admitting and explaining how "the mechanics just weren't paying attention and broke another customers wheel" I was super uncomfortable and ended up asking for my keys back to leave. This experience started off fine but went downhill very quickly and raised serious safety concerns. I purchased four new tires for a vehicle with staggered rims. Despite this being clearly communicated, the shop forced a smaller tire onto a larger rim and then attempted to return my vehicle with the rims mounted on the wrong wheels. Visually, it was obvious the tire did not fit the rim correctly. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, I was met with resistance and excuses, including being told that the rims were somehow incorrect. After nearly 30 minutes of arguing, the manager finally acknowledged that the wrong tires had been installed on the wrong wheels. Do not bring your vehicle here. They are very incompetent. I purchased a vehicle from Drive time here in Saint Louis, MO. I refused to get the extended warranty drive time offers their customers after the free 30 day warranty. Somehow, Drive time managed to knock out the code for a bad converter because even the two most recent shops I took the vehicle to had no check engine light appear. Like any mechanic would tell you. For a clogged catalytic converter I should get a code. That doesn’t absolve this company from missing the error of not knowing that the information I gave them should have gave their mechanics an inkling of what the issue could be. I took my vehicle to this shop twice in my 30 day free warranty period in which I expressed several times how the vehicle was jerking & losing
