Tires Plus of Waukegan

Great place I've (unfortunately) had to use for 3 flats over the past year. Lots of building traffic around Waukegan and I keep running over bolts. This place is BUSY, but the service is good. Yes, you might have to wait a little bit to get set up but I've always found them to be polite and focused on helping me, even when they are obviously slammed. They do good work and the price is reasonable. Someone mentioned to me today that the nearby Walmart is their competition. I'm sure they are probably cheaper, but I'd rather have tire work done by a tire place who actually knows what they are doing. I watched the guy today spend nearly 10 minutes to try to get exactly the right fix for someone's car, a fix that ended up costing that customer a lot less than the first one. Literally gav

I find it pretty ridiculous how after me paying for a tire rotation the middle eastern guy wanted to charge me another $40 to relearn the tires like shouldn’t that have been included with the tire rotation??? Then tells tech guy and on my receipt that I opted out of it. Coincidence or not I’ve noticed my car has started making a weird cranking noise when I step foot off the brakes ever since taking it back in the for the tire rotation. Only giving it 3 stairs cause before I had a nail in my tire and a different guy patched it up no problem.

Great place for ladies who feel taken advantage of at other shops. I've considered Tires Plus my go-to place for decades for oil changes, new tires (tire rotations included with new tires), and car repairs. They keep my old cars running well and safely with fair pricing and reliable workmanship. Sandeep and Raj at front desk are great and friendly! Art and Ken know their stuff! Ken saved me a trip to a muffler shop today by doing a quick fix-up to keep me going. There's also a waiting room with plenty of space to read or do work while you wait. Tires Plus in Waukegan rocks!!!

I got good, timely service to have a nail removed from my tire when I brought it in at 5:20pm. The owner (?) or employee I worked with was very friendly. Cost just under $30. You do have to enter the parking lot from near McDonald's and cross empty lots, which is a bit strange.
