Joe is so sweet and amazing, his diagnosis of my 2005 highlander utterly saved my butt on a cross country drive! He discovered a coolant leak that corroded my timing belt and I could have totaled my car if that belt broke during the road trip. He also offered me an super reasonable price to fix the whole shebang. Edward is also super nice, I can just tell this is a family business because they treat me and each other like fam. Been going to Tomato Automotive for over 10+ years from the previous location in Walnut and now in Covina. The owner, Joe, is so helpful and kind and very knowledgeable with all types of vehicles and always goes above and beyond to care for my car. His associate, Edward, is also super friendly and great. They have quick turnaround times, too. And the prices are honest and fair. It’s a small ma and pa spot with plenty of repeat customers, and I love giving my business to them. This isn’t like a massive dealership with fancy waiting areas, which are usually unnecessary. There are nearby Starbucks and cafes and restaurants you can easily walk to and wait at while you’re waiting for your car. Joe runs a professional shop. He is priced fairly, knowledgable, friendly and honest. He is definitely a great guy and trustworthy.

If you're not Korean they'll try to scam you. I understand a good amount of Korean and the things I caught them saying is ridiculous. They try to steal customers from their neighbors too. Awful business practices
