Tommy's Express® Car Wash

I am extremely upset with how Tommy’s Express handled the damage they caused to my vehicle. I drive a Tesla with a rare paint color that is not easy to match or repair. My car went into their wash in excellent condition. It came out with significant scratches running down the entire side. I immediately reported the damage while still on-site. They took my information, acted concerned, and assured me they would follow up. They never did. I had to repeatedly call them myself just to get a response. When I finally spoke with someone and was told to come back, the General Manager, Joshua Carrier, dismissed the situation entirely. He claimed the scratches were “not consistent” with their wash and stated their cameras showed my vehicle was “pristine” before entering. However, they did not even

Good car wash that looks very high tech Tommy's Express Car Wash started back in 1969 when the Essenburg family opened their first Quality Car Wash in Holland, Michigan. It has grown since then into a franchise that by late 2025, has over 260 spots worldwide. We have never been to this one and I found it fascinating and slightly different from the normal carwash I visit (Caliber Car wash). This location was right off the main road (State Street) just to the west of the interstate entrance. It had an easy to navigate layout for newcomers like me. We were new and drove straight up to the window to pay for a basic wash with an undercarriage rinse. It cost about $9. My antenna fin was knocked out by their rotating brush. The staff on duty gave me remaining pieces. Owner refused to compensate alleging, get this, that my antenna cover (mounted from inside) was already lose and he somehow saw it on camera. I asked to show me the video but still waiting and have over $2000 law suit which could have been much less had the owner honestly acknowledged the damages. See pictures attached.

Scott Moore who works there was very helpful to me and kind. And everybody there always has a smile 😁 I've tried all the car washes in Bristol Tommy's is the best!

The staff is always extremely nice and polite. They help assist you in getting into the car wash if that is your nervous Nelly. The car wash uses great products and my car always looks showroom clean when I come out the other side
