Tommy's Express® Car Wash

Below is the email that I sent to Tommy’s after I went there for the first and last time. I sent this message to the local operator as well as the Company’s corporate customer service email. The only response I got was from the companies headquarters saying that I should contact the local operator. From the email they could have easily seen that I did contact the local operator as well as their HQ. No additional attempt was made to contact me by the local operator or the corporate customer service.Poor cleaning service and poor customer service. I did give them one star only because I was not able to give them zero stars. Disappointed with service I have just returned home after visiting your Waterloo location on University Avenue. Ran my truck through the wash today. Ray is always helpful in volunteering to cleaning my mats. I don’t always get them cleaned but if I take them out and set them on my tailgate he is always there to clean them for me. He’s definitely a positive asset to your crew. And he is genuinely a pleasant person. Ray gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We like coming to Tommy’s because the price is great & the vacuum is free! Ray is so pleasant & efficient. He did a wonderful job cleaning our mats even though we tipped him up front & we didn’t have much cash on hand.

This is strictly just a review for an employee! Everyone we go to Tommy’s to clean up our vehicle we stop and wipe it down, vacuum it out and just get the inside cleaned up nicely. As soon as we get out Ray is right there! He grabs our mats along with everyone else who is around and gets them cleaned immediately. If they don’t go through the machine he takes them in and sprays them off. He even hand scrubs them if they need it. He’s kind courteous, always visits for a second to see if we need anything. He always takes care of every customer out there. His hustle is real! Hopefully Tommy’s is taking good care of Ray! He’s an asset to that team!

Stopped in today to get my usual car wash. I pulled into a parking spot after to wipe down my windows, and Ray came out. He offered to fix my bent license plate and even brought out extra screws to make it more secure. He was so friendly and helpful and I really appreciated him today!!! I see him out there often helping other customers, too. There is a lot to be said for a man who takes obvious pride in his work, and Tommy's Car Wash in Waterloo is made even better by his presence!
