Tom's Garage

Took my girlfriends car to a automotive repair shop, and they said it was going to be $2,700 to repair the car. I then took it to Tom's Garage in hopes of getting it fixed for cheaper. He fixed the cars main issues; air vent causing a rumble, power steering leak, and oil change. He even checked to make sure rotors were good and nothing damaged (car place said both occurred and needed fixing). Every thing came down to less than $700 to fix the car. Thanks to Tom, I don't have to get rid of it yet!

I have been using Tom for probably about 10 or 12 years. It is incalculable at this point how many thousands of dollars he has saved me over these years. That coupled with the confidence I have had in my older, paid for, vehicles make the 50 minute trip from my home in Franklin to his shop in Mt. Pleasant more than worth it. Tom's prices are fair, his knowledge regarding complex mechanics, as well as, the new technology on the newer models is exceptional; and, unlike all other mechanics, he does not gouge you on the mark up on parts. If it is broken, and he can, he will fix a part rather than throw it away and buy a new one. He knows when to recommend original manufacturer parts and when it is OK to try an aftermarket. I rely on his integrity and expertise to move my family about town

Tom is one of those mechanics who really cares about you and your pocket book. He wants his customers to have a smoothly running car without nickel and dimeing them. He was very honest and communicated clearly. He made sure I understood the problem and my options so I made the best choice. I would recommend his shop every time.

Was chasing a misfire in my galaxie and Tom absolutely knew exactly what to do and what to fix. I truthfully don’t believe there’s a more knowledgeable person when it comes to diagnostic repair.

A year or so ago my AC went out in my Honda Element. I took it to several mechanics. At first they said they fixed it. Took it back they said we fixed it. Took it back again they didn't have time for me. So I paid them twice for nothing. Took it to Tom he knew what the problem was. Needed replacing. He replaced it and I had it back after a few days. Fast and a fair price. He's always there when I need him. Thank you Tom. You are greatly appreciated.
