Toyota of Sylacauga Service

IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION! I went to Firestone and had my oil changed and there was an issue with oil leaking on the ground/ "my driveway". I took my vehicle to Toyota of Sylacauga to have the vehicle inspected. I was told there was no oil leak (THANKFUL); however, I needed to purchase a water pump for my vehicle. I was thrown for the hugest loop! I had just purchased a water pump December 2024 and here is January 2026 and I need another one. I was very confused as the oil on the ground was explained as "who ever changed your oil did not clean up afterwards." I was being told that I needed a water pump. The explanation as to why I was not able to see the water pump leakage was because of a guard on my car and it was absorbing the fluids. LIVID! I asked Hunter to get my car together and

I’m still new to the family but I’m feeling it! Great service department. This was my second visit and both times were good. Just routine maintenance but elevated. Oil change, inspection, rotation and a dagum car wash WHATTT! My concierge kept me updated and I was fairly comfortable there considering that I don’t “people”. Thanks a bunch Sylacauga Toyota service department.

Went in to the maintenance department with a fairly simple request. Needed a tire pressure sensor (already installed) to be added to the tire pressure sensor module in the vehicle. It's as simple as hooking up a laptop to your cars OBDII port, opening g the toyota software program on the laptop and typing in the new tire pressure sensors wireless identifier number. They wanted 130.00 just to "diagnose" the problem and I said "really?" And their response "well, you know how it is". I said "yes, I guess I do. Have yourself a nice day." And I left. You can buy a obd to usb connector, download the toyota program and do it yourself for less than half the cost of a diagnosis. Corporate greed these days is astounding. At least TRY to make the customers feel like the means justifies the expense. T
