Toyota Salinas Parts And Service Center

Recently got my car serviced at the Salinas Toyota Rick service associate was really efficient detailed on what was gonna be done and made the transition go really smooth. The only thing I miss about Toyota from years pass is they used to give you a free car wash voucher and even before then they used to even wash your car there maybe because of liability issues or things like that Anymore, but I can’t complain. I was able to go inside and wait for my car which took about an hour or so and just chill out in the lounge area on the couches. They do have some coffee and donuts sometimes but I’m trying to watch the sugar so I avoided it, and I also even walked around a lot to see what inventory they had for what my next future car be after my current lease

I bought my car here and had a great experience. The 10000 mile checkup not so much. Had a 12 pm Appt..was told 2 to 2.5 hours. I was provided a Lyft to go to the mall to bide time..3.5 hours I had heard nothing. I called to get status and was put on hold..I texted to get an update and nothing. I took my own Lyft back to the dealership and was informed the internet had gone done and the computer update had stopped and they had to restart it. Finally at 5 pm I was provided a loaner car to use until the next morning. Received a text my car was ready.arrived at dealership the next day and my license plate was not installed per my request. My car was saying maintenance needed see dealer. I went in and there were a few things my car needed, but since I had a few oil change I told myself let’s do that & see how their service is. WORSE service I have ever experienced. Four(4) hours for an oil change is ridiculous. Yes I made an appointment for 11:30. The guy told me 2-3 hours even then I was like that’s a long time, but ok since I made my appointment the day before & it’s a free oil change. The guy called my name & handed me the papers literally at 3:30. Yes I waited there cause I did not expect it to be that long. The sad part is they can’t lie to me & say they were inspecting my car like the “track your vehicles service time” thing whatever because I saw my car parked outside right in front of me the entire time. I have always had lousy customer service when it comes to actually getting ahold of a person in order to arrange picking my car back up after an oil change. Nice people but NO ONE answers their phone, let alone calls me back. They offer a shuttle service to get me so I can retrieve my car but it’s impossible to get ahold of them to arrange it so I sit STRANDED all day waiting and extremely late (by hours) to pick my kid up from school. I wouldNOT RECOMMEND getting your car serviced at this dealership.
