Avoid this place for service. I hadn’t looked at all the 1 star reviews because we bought our car here and just naturally kept going to the same dealer for the service. It’s funny that they separate the sales side from the service side on Google, but after seeing all the one star reviews I can understand why. So as I mentioned we bought our car here new in 2021. Every time they call/text from various different numbers that the car needed service we would bring it in. My first gripe is that you pull into the garage where the service advisors are, and everyone is just standing around, socializing, laughing and having a grand old time. I’m not opposed to this but on several occasions I would pull in, wait in my car, only to be ignored for 5 minutes, step out of my car and then be ignored f

I would have given them a ZERO STAR IF I COULD. DO NOT take your car here for service! They are the absolute worst. I used to come here for oil changes because they had good deals. Big mistake. One time, they left the motor cap off, and my car started making a strange noise. The service guy kept insisting it was my muffler—even though I told him my car wasn’t making that noise before I came in. When the supervisor came out, they finally realized the real issue: they had forgotten to put the motor cap back on. The supervisor gave me some compensation, and I let it go because mistakes happen. But the next time was the last straw. I came in for another oil change, and they told me my oil pan was leaking from the drain plug. I had my car’s oil service done today at Toyota, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Supervisor Robert and the ladies working at the front desk were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. They truly prioritize customer satisfaction and made everything smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for excellent service. Huge ripoff with unwelcoming attitude. Wasted over $1,000 to learn our lesson to never come here again! When we first drove in (with appointment), no one said hi or even acknowledged us. It doesn't look like anyone wants to be working here, let alone care about the customers. My poor naive husband got upsold $1,000+ of completely unnecessary services including a $246 service to spray some febreze into our AC system. We did not want or need any of these extras, but they forced them on us by saying they were necessary and even dare wrote “customer states”. After seeing how gullible my husband was, they tried to sell us another $2,500+ of service. Additionally they said there are some small leaks and they wanted to charge $1,800 per leak! I am very happy with the way Toyota Universe organized their front end staff and reception. They were very quick and answered to all my questions with clarity. Ismael de Jesus was very professional and cordial. I’ve serviced my Toyota Prius there before and will continue to do so. The only reason I only gave 4 stars ⭐️ is because I think they could charge less for the parts. They fairly calculated the labor rates but I needed to get 4 new air tire sensors that cost $89. Each and they wanted to charge me $135 each. That makes a profit of $184 over the regular price and adding labor became too much for my small budget. Suggestions: wouldn’t be nice to give away 20% discount for those seniors whom have to survive on a Social Security retirement check? 😊
