Normally my go-to place when I need a repair. Well I took a vehicle I just bought there for a suspected blown head gasket. I just wanted diagnostics to confirm my suspicions. They call me back and say your thermostat was sticking, thats going to fix the issue. $350 later and they think its a bad fin on the water pump. Also the thermostat wasn't even in there "so someone has been in there before" was what i was told. (This contradicts the previous statement if you hadn't noticed about it sticking) I asked if they did a leak down or a compression test. They said no because that would require removing a spark plug and that has nothing to do with the cooling system. With those words I have completely lost faith in the competency of that shop.
