Trans-Tech Transmissions

I had a damaged dipstick tube replaced here before and it was done well, so I had my transmission fluid changed here. Ive had problems in that some places wont do transmission fluid on a dodge 2012. They asked me to bring it in the night before, and I did. I had a call that it was ready 1030am the next morning. It feels much smoother changing gears and it was $200 less than the dealership. Knowledgeable technicians with friendly and excellent service.

I had a terrible experience with this shop and would not recommend them. I called ahead and was quoted $250 for a TCM program/relearn on my 2010 GM vehicle. Based on that, I dropped off my car after hours with clear notes and even provided extra transmission fluid and coolant, just in case. The next day, they completed the work but never called me with an update or any change in pricing. When I arrived, the bill was $389—later reduced to $317.50 after I disputed it. The extra charges were for adding half a quart of fluid (which I provided) and test-driving the car. At no point did anyone call to confirm these additional charges. To make matters worse, the greeting was unprofessional, and the manager/owner was extremely rude and combative, even after their employee confirmed the original

I took my car to Trans Tech for a transmission flush and my concern about my transmission. They did the transmission flush and they gave me the cost over the phone. When I got to the shop they told me they did it twice because they felt the fluid was dirty and it needed it again. I did not authorize the service but they still charged me. I highly recommend you find a different transmission place for that should’ve never have happened to a customer. Be told one thing and then go to the shop and then be told something else and they try to justify it by saying, we just decided to do it. Any extra services should always be approved by the customer because the customer may not have the money to pay them.

Transmission service is never cheap. But I was having my fluids and filter changed in my RAM truck. The manager was nice, answered my questions. Was engaging with the customer. And checked and got me a better price on a part. He did not have to. They did quick work of my vehicle. I was out the door in less than an hour. Kudos to trans tech!

This was the first time I used this company. I could hear my transmission was making noise so I had it towed to them. He called me back the next day and let me know it was only the seals and the transmission fluid was low. I had them do the repair. They got the work done pretty fast and I felt like they were very honest with the repairs needed. I would highly recommend this company And we use them in the future.
