Nice shop, friendly staff, busy yet organized. These guys and gal were great from the start. I had been a dealer only transmission service guy for my truck since it was new, until they messed up big time. Cost me a RDI and full re-build! Mark and Kayla made the whole experience comfortable, even though they had a lot to do. Shop got me out within a week and it drives like brand new! Can't thank ya'll enough! Will be back for my 500 mile transmission inspection and all future service needs. Thanks again 😊

We heard a lot of good about Transmission Doctor so we brought our truck here for the transmission work. Honest, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Had a great experience here. My lead frame was going south quickly. From the first call they took the time to hear out the issues of the car and took notes, they kept me updated throughout the process, and test drove it multiple times to make sure everything was running smoothly. They also called after a week or two to check back in and make sure everything was still working well. Would highly recommend!

I am writing a review today because I wanted to share how great this company has been to me and my family. I am a Marine Corps veteran and a Registered Nurse. I have a family and quite busy lives. My cars are old and touchy, but it is often very inconvenient when they start to make noises or just break down. I would struggle who to take it to, because, I didn't know if they would be honest with me about what is wrong, have an honest price, and not try to nickel and dime me at every corner. Since coming across the Transmission Doctor in Alachua, I have nothing but peace of mind knowing that I can take my car or have my car towed to their facility, get a full evaluation, and get spoken at length about the best options, EVEN if those options don't make them any money. I don’t think there’s enough space in here to detail how great this auto shop really is. In my experience with my Explorer st, i would recommend transmission doctor over any of the Ford dealerships in the area ( Santa Fe Ford, parks Ford of Gainesville, and Ford in chiefland). I hope you guys keep your mechanics and continue to develop and grow. I would even say you should partner up with Santa Fe college and help out with their automotive program. Truly exceptional service!
