Transmission

WARNING!!!! I went against the reviews and I am now paying the price! I am out thousands of dollars and my truck is doing the same thing it was doing when I initially took it to this shop. I brought it in having issues with transmission.I told him front differential, and he drove it and said yes your transmission is going out. He said he would rebuild it and the popping and jerking issue would be solved. Three days later he calls me to come pick up the truck, I drive it around the block and turn around. I said it is still jerking and making a popping noise..He then has his mechanic drive my truck we went down the street and the truck was jerking and something fell off.The mechanic pulls over, He walked down the road looking for what had fallen off ,I then jump in the truck and it will n

I had the worst experience you could imagine with these people at Star Transmission. I paid up front $ 2800 for them to start a transmission repair, and it was TOTAL rip off. They held my car for nearly 2 weeks and still did not repair my vehicle. I was told by them that my transmission was fixed but I had another problem beside the transmission, and they didn't know what it was. I demanded my car back and a full refund because I realized that they were not Qualified to do the job. I explained that they could take out what ever work they claim that they had done, Nathan who runs the shop and his brother told me that they would not refund any money. I reported them to the Attorney General's office and I'm waiting to hear back from them. I advise ANY ONE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS

They did a great job they were fast and friendly and they worked with me on the price when no one else would and even charged me less than I had expected. I would definitely use them again

The service was not as expected with time give by Nathan the person in charge. Nathan contacted me and stated the vehicle was ready and it had to be returned due to not shifting correctly. The next thing was a leak due to bolts not tighten and also a neutral safety switch causing the car not to start in Park. I will not recommend this shop to nobody and hope I will not have to return due to them not having the Transmission done right.

I had a pleasant experience I am happy with the transmission rebuild on my 2013 Chevy Silverado and as I was leaving their shop headed for a 2 he drive back home and my truck started running bad lifter had stuck they pulled my truck back in after they had rebuilt my transmission and got my truck back where I could drive it back home and I had a busted radiator they fixed it where I could get home and didn't leak no water and a free oil change I am a happy customer
