Transmissions For Less

I brought my 2018 F-150 here for a transmission fluid service. 5,000 miles later, the transmission pan gasket failed completely on the highway, dumping all fluid and leaving my family stranded. ​I had the truck towed to the local Ford Dealership for a forensic inspection. The Ford Master Tech confirmed the failure was due to incorrect installation of gasket (see attached photo). While the gasket is the real deal, I'd guess they used an impact gun instead of a torque wrench or did not clean the mating surfaces when dropping the pan. ​This shop’s work nearly cost me a $9,000 or more transmission replacement. Well, The greeted me on their lunch break and actually took my truck for a test drive to make sure my tranny was up-to-date and he found things that I didn’t even know was wrong with it so been very knowledgeable on all aspects and I’m a backyard mechanic so I know a little bit about what he’s talking about and it totally made sense so I’d have to say transmissions for less is a place to go I’ve had two truck transmissions rebuilt here in the last 10 years and dealing with the father, the owner and now the son they both been very helpful and very knowledgeable and the price was within my budget couldn’t be happier..

It is so rare to find wonderful, prompt, and honest customer service. Ted at Transmission For Less was a wonderful communicator and problem solver. I took my car to have transmission replaced after a wrong diagnosis. Teddy found a known switch issue with my car and replaced it promptly, tested it and saved me so much money. If I won the lottery tomorrow I'd send them a large check for restoring my faith in humanity.
