Transteck Truck Center

This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Freightliner XC Chassis air brake issue.... two weeks later and nearly $4,000 and all they did was bypass a valve. Did have a belt replaced and a few other small things (unverified if the work was actually done) but it was absolutely ridiculous. The mechanic that was working on the air brake system had no clue what he was doing. NO CALL BACKS. NO COMMUNICATIONS. NO UPDATES. NO URGENCY. NOTHING. The incompetency is unbelievable. Please take your vehicle anywhere BUT here. Even when they called and told us the vehicle was ready the paperwork was not completed and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes. We even called corporate in Easton. Good Luck getting through on the phone if you call there

This place is great, they jumped our truck and whilst mechanic John (I think) was waiting for the payment to be processed he did a visual check on the truck and wrote in comments that we need wipers, steering fluid and coolant to be topped out. April is very kind and cooperative, we would like more people in this industry like them. Keep up the good work team.

Stay away from this place. Our company took a vehicle there, which had been there twice before for the same regen issue, truck constantly goes into a regen and derates the truck. The most they would do is put it through a regen and say it was fixed. This time they said the entire DPF system would need to be replaced. I believe the quote was for around 20k. We refused the quote and took it to another dealer and issue was fixed for 1,200 bucks. The problem was a sensor. Like most shops in this country they’re obviously having an issue with not having experienced techs. They have no clue what they’re doing here and needs to be avoided at all costs.

Worst service and unorganized place. Had first thing in the morning appointment. I gave them the engine info and codes that needed to be addressed. Diesel Particulate Filer needed to be cleaned. They did their code and came up with same thing. Told girl at front I want work to be done and go ahead and get started. Was told motorcoach will need to stay overnight and that they would get started. She said will call me tomorrow when done. If I don’t hear from them call around 12 noon. Called at 12 noon. She told me they didn’t start work because I didn’t approve it. Said they sent something to an email. Told her she never told me that I needed to sign something to start work or that they were going to send an email. She then gave me an attitude voice and said to busy to talk. Spoke with manag

Terrible service here. Avoid at all cost. This guy bragging bout the amount of trucks on the lot instead of just reassuring a disgruntled customer about a better service next time. You tell them one thing and they do another thing just to scam you off. I been going there before they even moved the freightliner shop to this new location. The parts department are great but for service, None of my trucks going there again!!!
