STORY TIME 📖 Troy's Auto in Paducah failed to meet my expectations. I explicitly mentioned an oil leak and burning smell, but they chose to replace spark plugs first. After running the car for a while and noticing smoke, they now claim I need a new transmission. Honestly think they could’ve figured that out before changing spark plugs, but whatever. I think I got played and yes I paid the $500 to get my car back that I can’t even drive until I have $6000 for a transmission. They basically ran a diagnostic test and started with the small things first instead of what I asked as a customer. Pray for me 😢🙏🏽I really just wanted to finally get my license and start being more independent this year. Ugh😣

Amazing customer service. I drove 14 hours round trip yesterday to buy a vehicle in town and chose this shop to do a PPI (pre purchase inspection). They were so kind and helpful.

Honest and affordable. Hard to find a place i can trust when it comes to automotive repair. Quick and trustworthy. Also affordable but don't tell them I said that and they raise my prices.

Troy’s used to be my go-to trusted mechanic, but I’ll never give them my business again. I took my car in for a moderately loud ticking noise under the hood and rough idle, with a “cylinder 5 misfire” diagnostic error. I also let them know that the spark plugs were recently replaced at home, in an attempt to fix the error code. After supposedly looking over the car, they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and they couldn’t hear a ticking noise. I asked them to drive it around and check it again. They called back later and still claimed there was no ticking noise but that they were now getting a cylinder 1 & 6 misfire, which wasn’t the error code that came up before. They offered to do a $450 fix to “see if that fixes it” but they weren’t sure if that was the issue. The next da
