Took my car to get a state inspection and this happened. The last picture is how my car looked when I dropped it off yet still, the manager tried to tell me that my car was damaged when I dropped it off. I understand accidents happen but at least own up to it and stop trying to make excuses so then he ran the camera back and noticed that they did it and took a mallet to try to beat it back down. Now the hood doesn’t open properly.He goes well unfortunately I have to open the hood as part of the state inspection. I didn’t ask you that I asked about fixing my vehicle that your people damaged. I feel like he was trying to treat me like I was slow because I was a female and I don’t appreciate that. mind you this was my first time using them and obviously my last. TOTALED MY CAR by not properly tightening the drive belt resulting in a destroyed cam gear, didn't give me a diagnoses, and tried to charge me $8,000 for a new motor. After threatening suit, they offered $700 actual cash value to buy the $3,500 1999 LS400. See the hole in my exhaust cam cover. Going to go out on a limb and assume they DO NOT use stethoscopes to diagnose engine noise. Never consider using this business.

Two check-engine codes were showing, and I was told they pointed to misfires on cylinders 1 and 3. I was advised that replacing the coil packs was the needed repair. I did mention that I felt there might be more going on, but I’m not a mechanic, so I trusted the recommendation and moved forward. After spending $1,200+ and taking a full week arranging rides during the workday to drop off and pick up my truck, the same codes returned the very next morning. There was also a misunderstanding regarding timing. I believed I had said I would call Monday to confirm my plan, not that I was guaranteeing a Monday drop-off. Even so, I still stopped by a little around 3:30 PM to see if the truck could be looked at again and was told no. I understand that issues can be complex, but given the time, cost,

(From mid-January, 2026): This is my second time here for a car repair (replacement of a defective engine oil cooler). I found the consultation, pricing, and repair to be fair, getting a bit of discount because the labor charged was quicker and thus less expensive than originally estimated, after I asked if there can be any sort of discount applied. I recommend this car repair shop for its fair pricing and honesty. --------------- (From Oct. 1, 2025): Excellent pricing (only $20!) for the state safety inspection on my car. It's my first time using this car repair shop after having questionable experiences with other car repair shops in nearby neighborhoods. I'm very pleased so far and will use Turner's Auto Repair again in the future!

These guys are fantastic!! I've got a handful of times for different car issues over the years. They're fast, efficient, and the pay reflects the work. I don't know where I'd be without them!!
