Went there to get my brakes and rotors changed all the way around my truck! Frank did the work and when I left my emergency brake didn't work anymore! Went back and had to wait a week and a half for them to look at it! Went in to be met with attitude from Frank saying he never touched my emergency brake and it couldn't have been working before I came to get the brake work done! I told him everything was working because you guys were the ones that just inspected a couple of months ago! To him then telling me " I dont like people accussing me of not doing my job" I never said he didn't do his job, I said after doing the brakes the emergency brake doesn't work! He refused to rectify the issue unless I paid him to do any further work! This place needs better mechanics and better work ethics a

I love local businesses and tykes has a great customer service and prices are much cheaper than any other auto shop in my area. However you get what you pay for too. On my last 3 visits I've had to get my brakes fixed twice and both times were less than a year and yesterday l took my car in for a alternator/spark plug and battery issue and my car was fixed for 15 mins and my car was shut down again after leaving the shop and funny enough they recommended new brakes again after they replaced the last ones only 8 months ago. So with that being said l would avoid this place because while they are friendly they are not good mechanics who don't fix things to last long. Only a few months at most. If l were you l would spend more at another shop but at least you know it will last much longer and

I’ve been going to the guys for a few years and honest to God I am beyond satisfied with their service. They have always been reasonable and helpful.

The first time I took my car to Tykes I had a great experience. The man who checked me in and serviced my car was friendly and professional and the work was done well and was affordable, so when it came time to do an emissions check I mad an appointment with Tykes again. However, when I arrived this morning an older man who works there practically bit my head off then proceeded to talk to me as if I were an imbecile. I’m not even exaggerating. With so many places offering emissions checks I opted to drive away instead of doing business with this entirely inappropriate and unpleasant person. Too bad since they are so conveniently located. Had the man I dealt with the first time been thee, I might have stuck around. You can bet I’ll be telling my neighbors.

Took my car in to get inspected, I already knew that my front rotors were most likely warped, because my brake pedal was pulsating and steering wheel was shaking when braking. I bought A rear rotor .. some front and back brakes due to a closing sale. I stated that I had those parts they could use if needed. Everything came up to $800 which is ridiculous.. passed me for inspection. Took my car excited to drive off and not feel the shaking or pulsating. Just to feel like I was driving the same car, same shaking, same pulsating.. probably even worse. Took my car BACK after paying $800, calls and is MUMBLING on the phone so that I could mishear what he’s saying because they know they’re wrong .. says we changed the rear rotors and brakes but it seems that the front rotors are whatever he said
