U T Performance

Our camping trip quickly came to a halt about an hour from home. Had the camper towed to Lee Smith in Chattanooga a month or so ago and they rerouted some wires incorrectly, and caused arcing and regulator near alternator and battery to short out and fry. Battery wouldn’t hold a charge. We managed to limp our way to UT Performance in Dayton where Matt went above and beyond and out of his way to fix everything they messed up and get us back on the road. Great guy. Great shop. Great work. Thank you!!

I lent this place my truck a few months back for a transmission conversion kit. They held it, never gave me updates every time I called I would “get a call back” never got that or an estimate despite asking multiple times. After they have the conversion kit for 2 weeks and haven’t touched the truck I would to take it back. They let me leave the lot with very low transmission fluid and no peep hole cover in place. Transmission ended up burning up down the road despite buying fluid for it. They lied and cheated me out of a transmission. This place has no backbone. I assumed they were honest because I’ve brought them this truck before. They lied to me for 2 months and let me leave their lot knowing the transmission couldn’t be driven. These people are untrustworthy and unfaithful. Snakes

They are just the best guys around , honest and the best at what they do, cant say enough good things about them! I dont take my truck to anyone else... Thank you for keeping my ole truck running smooth!

It may take Matt, Glenn and the rest of the crew a minute to get to your car, but you can bet that it's been fixed. They are always nice and willing to help. Love them like the are family..

I’ve done business here before and had good results, but my last service was less than ideal. My engine blew out of my 2013 Ford Focus so I had them swap in another engine. The car has not been right since. The engine mounts squeak and the check engine light stays on. I returned it to him to fix and left it for over a month. They were unable to fix the issues. I feel I paid full price for 3/4 work. I will not return. Update: took the car to the dealer and had the crank sensor recalibrated. Runs great now and the check engine light stays off. $300 Update: as of November 2019 the rear motor mount fell off. Mechanic in Chattanooga said the previous mechanic cross threaded the motor mount bolt and left it halfway in. $350 to fix. There is no way they didn’t know when they put the engine back
