Ultimate Shine Car Wash

Friendly staff, but the wash quality was disappointing ​I tried Ultimate Shine for the first time with a discounted wash. The staff were very nice and the line moved quickly. They have a person on each side of the car doing a manual pre-wash with a brush and a 5-gallon bucket. When I asked how often they change that water, I was told every hour or two, which is a bit concerning for grit buildup. ​They sprayed down my truck but didn't actually brush it. Since it was covered in road grime, the automatic wash simply couldn't handle the job on its own. Only the smooth panels came clean, leaving most of the truck still quite dirty. I’m thankful I don’t see any swirls in the paint, but it’s honestly hard to tell with the dirt that was left behind.

This use to be the best car wash in the area and last year I was very happy with this location. This year they are now blocking off the fast pass lane during peak times or when there is demand to wash cars due to weather. I pay $41.95 a month for their services and have not been happy with this new practice. I'm going to check out Tidal Wave right across and see how it compares.

PLEASE READ! I have been going here for a couple of years. I have had a monthly subscription since they opened in Morgantown. About 2 weeks ago I went through and heard a loud pop at the end of the wash. As you can see in the picture it popped the bottom rail of my car breaking the clips. I drove it to a local car shop and it cost about 70.00 to install new clips and fix it. I should have known better but went through the car wash a week later and POP! at the end of the wash again! This time I pulled around and spoke to an attendant. She was kind, took pictures, filled out a form and forwarded the video of the incident that showed the carwash causing the damage to whoever she is told to send it to. A week goes by I hear nothing. if i could leave 0 stars now i would. i had a membership with them and did enjoy their services until they cracked my windshield and are now refusing to take responsibility. site manager and district manager straight up lied about the damage being present before i entered (refer to pictures--the mouse/pointer is what they claim to be the crack vs. where it actually is). do not go here. forgot to mention how unprofessional the staff was. the first day i went-a man named EJ said the site manager Acacia had already left for the day and that he did not have access to the footage. the next day i came back and Acacia was having trouble finding the footage on her phone then said “let me go see if he has it” and walked over to the same EJ that told me he doesn’t have access. she then proceeded to

Worst one in morgantown. Use the one on other side of the highway by bass pro. Only 6 cars in line and somehow took 45 minutes. There gate system is also messed up as the left lane kept being skipped. They also have a terrible “fast pass” system like all the amusement parks and people hate. The third lane people could drive up to and slip the line with this pass. Let me know that before I get stuck in line. I’m not waiting for that crap
