University Tire

I have used University for years, and used to encourage other people in the area to use them too. Since they got bought out, the customer service and customer appreciation has gone out the door too. I took my wife's Sienna in for an oil change, and when I picked it up, they told me it was going to be $114 for the oil change. The same oil change that used to cost me $79. I understand costs have gone up for everyone, but that's not inflation, that's the too common greedy corporate mentality that is taking over all of our local shops and service centers. I have bought dozens of tires and had tons of service work done at University, and have never been disappointed until the last few months. Greeted with friendly service. I just needed a simple tire patch on a leaking tire. The Technician saved us from a seriously dangerous situation. He found and notified us that while there appeared to be a little tread left, there was cord showing on three of four tires and a wall gash on one. I see that as the difference between an amateur and a professional. Thank you.
