Valvoline Instant Oil Change

NEGLIGENCE HAS LED TO MY ENGINE FAILING. I’ve been getting my oil changed at Valvoline for years over the course of 3 vehicles. I’ve been coming to this location specifically for past year. The other day my car started breaking down due to a damaged piston. The mechanic found NO oil in the car although I had just been in Valvoline for an oil change about one week prior. The leak of oil from my car should have been noticed by every technician who performed the oil changes, as the damage to the piston must have been happening over a period of time.. I always got my oil changes regularly per the recommended mileage. I am NEVER going to Valvoline again and I want refunds!

Eric was a consumate professional. He worked with me to get the services I wanted at the right price. If I opened my own valvoline id poach him to run my store. Great customer service and im happy with how my car is running. I will be here for all my fluid maintenance moving forward. I had an oil change, transmission service and a tire rotation. I knew he was doing his job trying to get me to purchase services but i never felt like it was a frivolous upsell. Exactly how it should be. I left feeling like i got good service while taking care of my car. Id highly recommend this location.

I would say that "satisfied" was fine. There was a little bit of a wait, and the tech tried to upsell me on an air filter and transmission fluid change, but that's to be expected. Good service as expected, and I was able to use a coupon though the app.

I don't know why you'd go anywhere else for an oil change. The employees are respectful and willing to explain things, are not pushy with any additional services (like that engine air filter). Lucas and Ashley were both great today and I will definitely come back for future oil changes and other services they offer. The prices feel very standard so for the same price and better service, this is the place to go.

Yesterday afternoon I had a fantastic experience at Vavoline in Ellicott City, MD. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They completed my Toyota RAV4 oil change, differential fluid replacement, cabin filter replacement, battery check, tire inflation, and light check quickly (in about 25 minutes) without rushing. I appreciated that they clearly explained the services and didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. When asked any questions, Sulay was transparent about procedures and expectations. He was a standout employee: personable and went the extra mile. I'll definitely be back and will recommend them to my friends!
