Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I had just purchased a GMC Sierra 2500 as a dedicated work truck. Although it’s a strong truck, it had been sitting for some time and needed a full tune-up. Rather than risk driving it all the way home, I pulled into the federal way Valvoline location off of pac highway, intending to return for service and purchase parts to get it road-ready myself. I left a note and received written confirmation via text from the manager that it was acceptable to leave it temporarily. On the third day, I texted that I would be there within the hour to retrieve it. The manager replied that it was fine. Although it took me just over 2 hours to arrive, Despite that written approval, the truck was towed without warning or follow-up communication. Service is really good I was in & out within a little over 30 minutes. I like Valvoline because you stay in your car without having to get out. It's very convenient. The staff is super nice I wish I would've gotten the girls name who did my oil change I thought she was pretty bad ass. I'll always come back here good service & the price is really good

Stopped by Valvoline for a quick oil change on a Sunday and, unsurprisingly, the line was pretty long. I ended up waiting around 45 minutes, which felt fair given how busy they were. The staff was friendly and professional, and they topped off my tire pressure. It was a nice touch since I had just driven back from Leavenworth and noticed it was a bit low. The process was straightforward and efficient overall. Restroom was available for customer use, which helped during the wait. While the service wasn’t anything extraordinary, it was reliable and met expectations. This location seems to handle busy days pretty well. I always have a great experience here. I had a coupon from another location (Maple Valley) that wasn't honored, BUT the technicians at this location still managed to get me a discount and a great service for my vehicle. Please be patient, the lines can get crazy long (my wait was 45 minutes-1 hour, which is common for that time of day) and they move as fast as possible while making SURE everything is correct on your vehicle. You'll appreciate the time they're taking when its your vehicle being inspected.

It’s quite a long wait and a bit more expensive than other places nearby but it’s worth it. I’ve never had any problems here. The staff are kind and good at what they do. As an introvert, I appreciate that they don’t bother you the whole time trying to sell you stuff you don’t need (like Oilstop does). It’s really laid back and easy and I enjoy coming here.
