Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Had a great experience at Valvoline today. I came in for an oil change and ended up purchasing an air filter after the technician explained why it was needed. He was knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and took the time to walk me through it. The whole experience was quick, easy, and really pleasant. I’ll definitely be back.

The manager Michael is one of the nicest and most helpful people I have had the pleasure speak with. If this is the people they are hiring then they deserve everyone's business and I will recommend them to everyone I know in the Massachusetts area!

I went to this Valvoline location just to get an oil change. I clearly asked for only an oil change, nothing else. The technician got visibly upset because I declined the extra services, and he started making rude and disrespectful comments. even calling me a “cheap person.” He assumed I didn’t speak English, but I understood everything he said. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. After that, he rushed through the oil change so fast that he didn’t give me any paperwork or receipt. He said he would email it, but I never received anything . and I didn’t even get his name because of how quickly he ended the service. The whole experience felt rude and racially insensitive. Everyone was super awesome, friendly, and very efficient. Mike, I believe the man at the computer, was very informative and told me things that are super helpful for me to know about my vehicle (which is awesome for me because I don't know much about cars). They all went above and beyond. This was a great experience, especially for my first time at Valvoline.

Took my car in for an oil change and my wife called me later that day about a bad noise while she was driving. Had it towed to my mechanic who was closed and i went to look. The plastic cover on the bottom of the car had no screws in it and i dont know how it was still on the car. Valvoline was still open and said theyd get it fixed. After they put it back together, i inspected and noticed they didnt put the pieces together correctly and asked them to redo it and was told no. Was also given no refund for my troubles.
