Valvoline Instant Oil Change

This review is based on my experience with Jariza. This was my first visit to a quick-change oil service station. Upon arrival, I informed the manager that I had brought my own oil and OEM filter, as my vehicle manufacturer recommends using Mobil 1. She explained there would be a service fee of approximately $41, which I agreed to. When I attempted to retrieve the oil and filter from my trunk, the manager firmly instructed me to remain in the vehicle, stating she needed to complete her checks first. I expressed that I preferred to provide the items myself rather than have someone go through my trunk, but she refused. After that, she turned around and walked away, mumbling something under her breath that sounded like she was talking about me. I asked if there was a problem, and she replied

Went in for an oil change around the time they would close and was greeted with great attitudes from Forrest, Alex, Bryan, and Tamia. Tamia was very informative and patient with me. I was very upset after hearing the previous place I went to for an oil change messed up. But they group went out their way to make sure everything was in order and where it should be. Right on the money 😂. My fiancé tried to pay them a tip but they would not accept. Instead wanted this great review. If you are in Sanford and need service done on your car. This is the place to go ! Alex was very informative too and the vibes were overall very pleasant the service was fast. I hope this review gets them a nice raise. They deserve it.

Customer service is terrible. They quoted us 296.68 and took payment. When it was time for my husband to leave they said oh we forgot to include something and it will be about 30 dollars more. Fine no problem, charge me the extra $30. They say no we are going to cancel the charge and rerun the card. My husband asked for some kind of receipt showing the charge was cancelled. They refused. He said you already took almost 300 from my account and he didn’t want to pay 330 more without some assurance that we would get a refund for the first charge. The assistant manager Julio threatened to call the cops if my husband didn’t pay the additional $330. He refused to contact a manager or someone with corporate. We are blessed enough to be able to cover the extra 330 while we wait to hopeful

Well, the actual oil change went fine and the employees were nice and thorough. They suggested a few additional services that I declined. 2 days later, my check engine light came on (my car is 2 year old Chevy Equinox RS with 35k miles). I immediately thought about the oil change UGH. A friend has a diagnostic reader, and the code that we got back was P0171, which in short my car was getting too much air through the engine. We opened the hood and found the bolts for the air filter housing were not tightened down. I mean, who does that?? From what I've read, that could have caused damage to my engine. There is also spilled oil inside the engine compartment. I went to Valvoline because I figured it would be more convenient than the dealer. I guess convenience is not everything, so

The team today was quick, friendly, high energy and looked like they were all really enjoying work which made my boring day of errands feel more fun. This is my 3rd trip to this location and they have always been upbeat , efficient and quick! Thank you so much for your service and your amazing team keeping everything moving with smiles.
