Vi at Grayhawk

My mom spent eight wonderful years at Vi at Grayhawk. She loved every minute of it. She expressed frequently that she regretted not having moved there sooner after Dad died. She was treated kindly and respectfully by EVERYONE. She maintained an active, social life with her new friends there. When Mom died, Vi assisted, sensitively, in every aspect of closing out her account and provided a prompt refund of the "return of capital" even sooner than they were required to. My family knows Vi at Grayhawk was one of the best things to ever happen for Mom, and we highly recommend it.

My father was hospitalized and arrived at Vi care center in February. From day one, the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and comfortable. Most of the staff has been there for many years, which is very telling. They all love their jobs and are treated well by management, which, in turn, means that all of the residents are treated with the utmost care and respect. My father had lost a lot of weight before being there but the quality of the food and choices on the menu were so good that he gained back the 18 pounds he lost in 5 months. What sets Vi apart from other skilled nursing and rehab facilities is the kindness of the staff. They truly care for their residents and the nursing and physical therapy is top notch.

My elderly mother-in-law, Annette, has been at this care center for several weeks now, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the exceptional care she has received (my wife is a pediatric nurse at a nearby hospital, so we have a baseline to compare from). After breaking her ankle and being unable to bear weight for six weeks, the staff has gone above and beyond in supporting her recovery. From attentive nursing to compassionate CNAs, everyone treats her with kindness and respect, making her feel like a member of an extended family. Their dedication is evident in every interaction; they are always VERY patient and genuinely caring. We moved into Vi at Grayhawk 2 weeks ago after being on the waitlist for 19 months. Our experience has been excellent - - the staff is friendly and helpful, the residents we've met are hospitable, the facility exceeds our expectations and we know we've made the right decision for this chapter in our life! Everyone at Vi from Amy the Sales Director and her staff, Sam the Move-in-Coordinator, Rose and Barbara at the Concierge desk, Greg and his staff in F&B and the Valet staff have gone out of their way to make our transition smooth and trouble-free. Both of my parents had to go to the hospital at the same time. A few days ago, my mother moved to the Vi Care Center to recover, while my father is still in the hospital. Since my mom has had such a positive experience at the care center, my dad is already looking forward to receiving their help once he gets discharged. We, their children, are very thankful for the great care our mother has received. The staff has been very kind, caring, and always ready to help. They listen to her and us and do their best to make everyone feel comfortable. A special thank you to Kelly—she’s been amazing! She is so kind, helpful, and truly has a big heart.
