I had some issues on a fishing trip with my 2015 Chevy Silverado 4x4. On the way home from NY, the Check Engine light popped up and my truck didn't sound normal. Knowing the 2015 Chevy trucks used the 6L80E transmission, I was familiar with the issues they could have. I took my truck to Vic's Transmissions, met Vic and Steve, and they checked my truck. Sure enough, my trans took a dump. I had experience from friends who went to dealers for a reman'd trans....$8K-$10K...for the same trans that just failed. We were on our way Knoebel's a few weeks ago and became concerned that there was something wrong with our transmission. We arrived on Thursday night at Knoebel's and woke up on Friday morning hoping to find a shop that could look at it. We called a few dealerships in the area who could not look at it that day. This was an issue because we had to drive home on Saturday afternoon. We found Vic's Transmission on Google and decided to give them a call. We are very glad we did. They said to bring it right over and they would take a look at it. I thought we would have to leave it there for the day, but Vic jumped right in and started to help us. Vic hooked it up to the computer to try to diagnose the problem, and took it for a test drive right away. In the end he could not find anything wrong

Top notch experience! They agreed to take on my pus case much to my surprise. The actual technician working on it took the time to call me to discuss what was going on and what my options were. I spoke to him on the phone for 25 minutes. I have been in the automotive industry all of my adult life and instantly knew this guy knew exactly he was talking about. Needless to say they got it right and they got it right the first time! It cost a little more than I was expecting but I have absolutely no problem paying for quality and peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Took my corolla to Vic s. for a no reverse problem. Was told it needed a full transmission rebuild at a cost of $4666.65. I took of the pan and fixed the shift arm myself for less than$50. They were too lazy to take the pan off. LAZY INCOMPETENT OR DISHONEST???? OR ALL 3?
