These guys did a good a thorough job getting my old truck to pas smog. They also worked fast and had my truck in and out in less than 24 hours. they repaired the valve cover gasket, and diagnosed and repaired an exhaust leak and carburator that was having issues. I left there and passed smog. They are professional and straight to business and I appreciate them for that. I recommend these guys to anyone they have the tools and the knowledge to do the job right.

I have been a customer of Villa Automotive since 2010, when I moved here for Cal Poly. For many years, I trusted your shop with my vehicles. I know your longtime employees by name and remember Miss Kitty, the shop cat who used to chase mice around the property. Because of this history, I expected to be treated with seriousness, professionalism, and respect. That has not been my recent experience. In spring 2025, Villa Automotive replaced the front panel and grill on my car and the repair took approximately eight days. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the panel was blue while my car is unmistakably black. This error was immediately obvious and should never have passed inspection. I came in for a routine oil change although I called the day before I did not schedule appointment so when I called again they were able to fit me in the same day. Very kind very efficient even quicker than I thought I was almost concerned with it even a complete oil change but everything seemed fine and nothing seemed abnormal the car checked out fine so I assume everything was good. They are definitely friendly I have known other people including friends and family who have came in the past so I felt good about coming there too. I would definitely come back for an oil change and or any other services I appreciate kindness fairness honesty and affordable prices.

This entire experience was an absolute rip-off and deeply unprofessional. We needed a basic inspection after our insurance company totaled our vehicle so we could obtain a salvage title. That alone cost $400. Afterward, we were told an additional $1,100 in repairs were required—many of which were grossly overpriced. For example, the tires they quoted were nearly double what I could have purchased at a tire shop. A rear fender reflector—$7.99 on Amazon—was quoted at $30 here, with the excuse that it had to be OEM from VW. Fine. We waited two weeks for the part to arrive, only to be told they ordered the wrong reflector. Another week passed before the correct one came in.
