My 2020 Honda Civic was recently purchased from this dealership following a lease return when a check engine light later appeared. I read the code and it was an emissions issue. I first described the issue to my most trusted repair place: Tony’s Honda & Acura Repairs in Scotch Plains off of Rt. 22. The mechanic, “Dave” suggested that, based on the age and low mileage, the powertrain warranty should still apply. I had to schedule to bring the car in, which took a week and was informed of the $175+ diagnostic fee right off the bat. (The fee would be waived if the repair is completed here).
