Volvo Car Service Edison

Yesterday, my 2025 Volvo XC90 was towed by Volvo Roadside Assistance to this dealership because the vehicle was shaking and felt unsafe to drive. The service department was closed, and the sales manager, Bobby, told me to mention his name in the morning so I could receive a loaner. When I arrived, Joaquin Correa approached me while assisting another customer. Without properly looking at or checking my vehicle, and in front of that customer, he asked if I had a scheduled service appointment. I explained that my car had been towed due to safety concerns. His immediate response was, “I don’t have a car for you,” and he then suggested that I take my car and continue driving it, despite me clearly stating it felt unsafe. Long story short, we have a lease through this dealership and that process wasnt bad however we it comes to honoring the tire insurance- horrible experience. Beside the fact of not answering the phone when my wife had an issue with the tire , we needed to stop in a location in NY and they took us in . But because they use different insurances , something that should be covered we needed to come out of pocket to get. My wife has mentioned numerous times issue with tires but they rather avoid at all cost than to help. At this last moment all those we had nails in the tires especially inntired that we had made complaints on before the "low thread" we were informed that we had to purchase new tires and this would not be covered. Went in to pick up the license plates for my newly leased Volvo after they called and said they were ready. My normal sales guy was off, so another sales person “helped” me. I couldn’t believe it when he handed me an electric drill and told me I could use it to put the plates on myself. I must have looked shocked because someone from service stepped in and said they would take care of it and told me to wait inside. I was pretty agitated by that point, so I’m glad they did. Seems like this sales guy forgot what customer service is. Hopefully this isn’t what future visits will be like. Felt like once the car was bought, they didn’t want anything to do with me. Very disappointed.

Recently I had my vehicle serviced at the dealership... They picked up my vehicle and delivered me a loaner which saved me over an hour of my time. My car was fixed and ready by the end of the day. This dealership goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are treated like family. This is my first Volvo purchase and I have to say, from the day I purchased my vehicle to my first service everyone was extremely pleasant and attentive to my requests and needs. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Every time I've delt with the service department I found them professional, competent and helpful. I just had minor warranty issue that wasn't typical and they took care of it immediately. Little things like that mean a lot to people like me. Thank you.
