I dropped my car off at Waldorf Honda for a diagnostic one evening because my car wouldn’t start. My car was dead. It was so bad a jump from another vehicle wouldn’t start my car. It only started if I charged the battery. I was told by a tech a day after dropping it off that apparently they tested my starter, battery and alternator and they all were fine. The tech at Honda told me that they didn’t find anything wrong with the car… but they can do a “tear down” for $450 to find the serial # & radio code to unlock my radio. The diagnostic was already a little over $200… (after tax it would’ve probably been $800+) I told them NOT to do a tear down and to test the car a little later since it apparently started fine for them. Careless - They forgot to replace my transmission fluid cap after servicing my car. I spent over $4,000 in various services on October 7, including a transmission drain and fill service (invoice C41536). I wasn't driving very much in October, so everything seemed fine initially. After a recent, longer drive, I noticed a burning smell coming from my engine. I took my car to the first mechanic I could find who immediately pointed out I was missing my transmission fluid cap. Up until this point, I only used Waldorf Honda for service. Now, I have to pay a significant amount of money (in excess of $500) to clean up the transmission fluid area all because someone at Waldorf Honda forgot to replace my cap. Over a month ago, I took my car in to get checked because the yellow engine light came on. First, they came out and told me I would only have to pay $25 to replace a specific part. Then somehow, that $25 turned into $577. Not to mention, I was sitting in the dealership for 7 hours just to find that out and to be told I wouldn’t be taking my car home. And now, here we are. I received my car back the day after that 7 hour wait, and then! two weeks later… coincidentally the yellow engine light comes back on. Along with that, the brake system light, traction control light, and power steering light all come on. I took my car back to the dealership on August 21st to figure out what’s going on, but this time I left it there instead of waiting. It is now August 25th, and I have been told nothing.

Best place to take your vehicle. In and out with no problem. techs and service advisors always explain everything to me . The manager John is one of thr best managers I’ve ever talked to, always friendly and helpful. Will be telling all family and friends to come here!!??

Honestly this is the only service department who has a requirement for doing oil changes which is ridiculous. My oil was at 20% and I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. Drove the hour to get there, and then I get asked “oh what’s your oil at?” I said “20” and they said oh no, we can’t take you. Why th wouldn’t you say that over the phone? And then I informed them I was doing a road trip and wanted my oil done anyways and they still said no. Really ridiculous policy you guys have. Also they can be rule rude as well. Oh and your appointment time does not mean your car will get checked at that time. Sat there for four hours for an oil change and when I asked for a status they didnt know! They could’ve told me that 1) there’s only one service tech who works on different models/used ca
