Waldorf Self-Service Vehicle Emissions Testing Kiosk

You must have a credit card to come here. I sat in a line of two people who had to drive off because the terminal didn’t accept their card. It refused two of mine and then accepted the second one finally. I would recommend it because it was simple to use with the terminal giving good instructions. The most time consuming task was paying for it.

I woke up a hour early to do my emissions test and got there a 4am the kiosk needed a credit card and I used mine. Then kiosk told me to remove my card and I did,,. I waited at the kiosk for 15 minutes and the screen never changed 4am, 32 degrees and could not do anything. I drove over 30 minutes to us the thing and it froze up. Don't waist your time.

Got here at 11:30 PM and to my surprise unlike beltsville or gaithersburg this one actually worked. I didn’t have a letter so my license plate number was enough. in and out took me maybe less than 5 minutes. the printing did work as well

The advantage of using the self-service is the 24/7 access. I went at night to avoid rush hour traffic on 301 & to save time versus using the standard emissions site with staff. However, the self-service was out of order with no signage provided. It was logistically inconvenient for me to travel to this location so I was very frustrated. I now have to return & pay more money for the standard emissions site service.
