Walmart Auto Care Center

Don’t bother showing up without an appointment. They refuse to take your information if there’s another car ahead of you and require you to wait in your car until that vehicle has been fully processed. Although they claim this policy has been in place for over a year, I’ve never experienced this before, and it isn’t posted anywhere. If the goal is to encourage appointments, they should simply stop accepting walk-ins.

Bought my tires for my truck from here, mounted and balanced here and went back yesterday to get them rotated and balanced and after having a 12:00 pm appt and waiting 15 mins after 12 I was finally acknowledged by a tech who was told by a manager who just walked by and from a distance told their tech that the machine they got to break down my tires would scratch my wheels then he just walked off, didn’t bother to talk to me personally or join out conversation, but in line to get their tires done were other cars with aluminum wheels. I explained that they mounted them there when I bought them, then the gentlemen said that their machine “didn’t have some rubbers things on and if we scratch your wheel I would want them to replace them”. He didn’t offer to send me to another Walmart nearby or

Bought 4 tires to include mounting and balancing. Was charged an additional 30 dollars to mount my best used tire as the spare....was never told it was going to be that much. In addition i had to pay for 5 tire disposal when I only had 4. I told them that this is the last time that I would buy tires at the automotive center.

The Automotive Department at this location does a fantastic job. I have been to several different locations and the one does the best. The manager Daniel makes sure that the shop is on schedule and the Department is always stocked with my favorite autocare products. Thanks!

I visited Walmart's Auto Care Center in Alvin, TX, this morning for a new headlight. Although it was a busy morning, the attendants were professional and patient, answering all of my questions. I spoke with Asher and Brayden, and they both were great. And they changed the lamps for the headlights incredibly fast. Going to an auto shop can be stressful and intimidating, but the crew at your Alvin store were welcoming and set my mind at ease. I'll definitely visit this location again for future service needs, and I'll encourage my friends and family to do the same. Thank you!
