Ordered 4 new tires from the site, made appt for install. Took car in, came back to pick up only to be told it was the wrong size tire. Which was frustrating cause I gave my exact tire information for ordering . I was given the options for which tire would fit my car and ordered from that only to be told “wrong size.” TERRIBLE customer service and communication, team lead Todd, dk how he’s a team lead he was unprofessional and talked to me super condescending and was put out when I was asking questions. Anyways I reordered tires, set another appointment only to be sent an email the next day to say they cancelled it due to shipping delay. Reset my appointment for the same day as originally had it so I’m not sure why they cancelled it on the first place. Basically don’t go here. Yeah prices
I’m sharing this review to caution others: If you decide to use Walmart's Auto Center in Centerville be sure to double-check any work done, even if it appears routine. I expected a much higher level of care and accountability from a professional auto center. 1. Walmart's Auto Center in Centerville Worked on My Spare Tire on 07.22.2025 - I paid for a TPMS install on the spare. - They removed and reinstalled the spare as part of the service(after I removed my locked bike rack from the tow hitch in their parking lot for access purposes) 2. They Reinstalled It - Surveillance video appears to show the techs reinstalling the spare. - The techs did not however appear to do a thorough visual inspection to make sure the retention plate was seated properly(contested by the manager during my last
DO NOT GO HERE If you value your safety and your family’s I encourage you to look elsewhere. My girlfriend took her 2022 Civic in for an oil change and tire rotation. They clearly misunderstood how to remove and reinstall the metal tray under the engine. Leaving it hanging and scraping down the freeway. Thankfully she noticed before it folded itself under the car. Which could have caused thousands in damage. After looking at the tires, they either didn’t rotate them, or they put the more worn tires on the front. Gross negligence all around.
I recently had a tire go flat on my commuter car the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. My wheel was screeching somewhat after changing the tire to the spare. The only local auto shop open was Walmart. The crew brought my car in immediately and repaired the tire. I noticed a grinding sound while driving away, so I turned right back and spoke to the manager Tyson about it. He offered to bring it back to the garage again to look at it. 20 minutes later he came back and explained that a wheel dust bin had been bent and he put it back in place. The wheel is still inflated and the car drives no problem. Shout out to Tyson and the team for the great work and going above and beyond.
I made a mistake coming here for an oil change 4 days ago. SUMMARY: I rarely use Walmart for services, but I was in hurry. I bought my own oil (Mobile One, performance full synthetic 0W20) at the main store and dropped off everything for service (I don't use their sponsored Pennzoil products), and the wait time wasn't bad. I left at a decent time and went home. I came back to my vehicle two days later and immediately noticed an unusual, but faint, knocking sound on the driver side of the engine. At first I thought it might be poor lubrication (i.e. wrong type or lack of oil), so I pulled the dipstick to find that it looked incredibly dark. It's highly unusual for oil to have this color and consistancy in such a short ammount of time (see attached picture). Synthetic oil with or without co
